President Irfaan Ali yesterday announced the construction of 150 homes for medical professionals at Plantation York, situated along the Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
A release from the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) said that the President made this announcement during the commissioning of medical equipment at the Linden Hospital Complex, Region Ten.
The CH&PA said that land clearing and first-phase infrastructure works have already begun in the area. Work on the homes will commence this year.
