The Guyana Police Force (GPF) and Buxton United recorded hard-fought wins when the KFC Elite League Cup continued on Friday evening at the Eve Leary ground in Kingston, Georgetown.
GPF arrested Ann’s Grove by a 2-0 score. Pernell Schultz opened the scoring in the fourth minute, while Dorwin George sealed the eventual score-line with an 81st-minute strike.
Meanwhile, Buxton United edged Fruta Conquerors 1-0. Tyreek Cummings found the back of the net in the 17th minute. The event continues today at the same venue with another doubleheader.
