Godfrey Collins, a 34-year-old resident of Lot 72 Middle Walk, Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara, the driver of minibus BYY 7852 that was involved in an accident on the Timehri public road, which resulted in the death of pedestrian Geo Zhen Jin, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
A release yesterday from the police said that he appeared at Diamond/ Grove Magistrate’s Court on Friday before Magistrate Judy Latchman, where the charge was read to him. He was placed on $1m bail.
The matter was adjourned to 24th November 2023.
