(Trinidad Guardian) A shooting in Belmont on Sunday night has led to the deaths of four men.
Police said Brandon Forde, 23, Chivon Clarke, 26, Brian Padmore, 27 and Keron Moore, 31, were liming at the corner of Smart Place and the Belmont Circular Road, around 10:10 pm, when an SUV drove up to them.
Five gunmen got out of the car and shot at the group before getting back in and driving off.
Residents heard the gunshots and called the police.
Officers of the Inter Agency Task Force Strike Team were called in.
Officers of the Belmont CID and the Port of Spain Task Force remained at the scene until after midnight.
Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region I also visited the scene with a District Medical Officer, who declared the four men dead.
Investigations are ongoing.
