Fifty-four-year-old Rollex Harry of Lot 666 Toucan Drive, South Ruimveldt, appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday, charged with possession of narcotics.
It is alleged that on October 27, 2023, while at Lombard and Princes Street, Georgetown, Harry Harry had in his possession 571 grams of cannabis, 485 grams of leaves, seeds, and stems, and 86 grams of hashish, along with 2 grams of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecution objected to bail on the grounds of the quantity of the narcotics that was found. The prosecution also told the magistrate that when the search was conducted, Harry admitted to the police that the narcotics found belonged to him. He was remanded to prison until November 20, 2023, for statements and fixture.
