The team has improved five places and moved to 1009.62 points from its previous September rank of 165th and 994.45 points, which constitutes an increase of 15.17. In the July ranking chart, Guyana was seeded 168th.
Since their 0-2 defeat to Ethiopia on August 2nd in an international friendly, the Golden Jaguars have recorded four wins in as many competitive encounters. The Guyanese defeated Antigua and Barbuda [5-1], the Bahamas [3-2], and Puerto Rico [3-1, 3-1] in League ‘B’ of the ongoing Concacaf Nations League.
