Man found dead in car, foul play ruled out

Lloyd Gibson

A 66-year-old man, believed to have succumbed to a heart attack, was found dead in his car outside the Promenade Gardens yesterday.

The man was identified as Lloyd Gibson called Johnny, of Schoonord, West Bank Demerara.

His widow Tessa Gibson told Stabroek News that her husband had dropped her off at Maggie’s on New Market Street at approximately 06:00 hrs and then taken her sister to Alberttown. While they were travelling to Georgetown, she said, her husband complained of having diarrhoea. She added that he had diabetes, suffered from poor blood circulation and was incapable of walking independently.
