The Guyana Defence (GDF), Fruta Conquerors and the Guyana Police Force (GPF) scored comfortable wins when the Guyana Football Federation’s Women’s Division One Football League continued on Saturday.
At the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground in Bourda, GDF outflanked Santos 7-0. Anastacia Horsham tallied a hat-trick in the 20th, 32nd and 37th minutes while Sasha Graves tallied a brace in the eighth and 57th minute. Adding goals in the 15th and 22nd minute were Abioice Heywood and Glengie Lewis.
Similarly, Fruta Conquerors defeated the Pakuri Warriors 5-2. Sandra Johnson led the way with a hat-trick in the 29th, 49th, and 67th minutes while Amanda McKenzie bagged a double in the 25th and 59th minute. On target in the loss were Kristina Daniels and Avina Adrian in the 16th and 66th minute respectively.
Over at the Bartica Community Ground, the Guyana Police Force whipped Potaro Strikers 3-0. Siacy Adams, Tiandi Smith, and Ashanti Aaron scored in the 30th, 49th, and 53rd minute respectively.
