LAHORE, Pakistan, CMC – Qiana Joseph and Jannillea Glasgow combined to destroy Thailand Emerging Players and set up a comfortable five-wicket win for West Indies Women-A in a low-scoring second game of the Twenty20 Tri-Series here Saturday.
Sent in at Gaddafi Stadium, Thailand Women were bundled out for 46 in the 15th over with left-arm spinner Qiana Joseph (3-1) and right-arm seamer Jannillea Glasgow (3-17) picking up three wickets apiece.
Seventeen-year-old pacer Jahzara Claxton chipped in with two for 16.
Sunida Chaturongrattana, batting at number four, was the only player to reach double figures with 12 as the innings plunged to 17 for four and never recovered.
In reply, West Indies Women-A slipped to 16 for three after Thipatcha Putthawong (2-7) struck twice but they recovered to get over the line in the 15th over.
Thailand Women will take on Pakistan Women-A in the third match on Sunday.
