Beacons and Potaro Strikers stormed to lopsided victories when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Sunday evening at the Community Centre ground.
Beacons mauled Agatash 8-0. Whitney Welcome bagged a double in the eighth and 17th minutes, while Kyle Caesar, Younce Butters, Brian Joseph, Jermaine Christian, Ronaldo Parris, and Kurt Welcome scored in the 28th, 30th, 50th, 57th, 60th, and 68th minute respectively.
Similarly, Potaro thrashed Lazio 6-0. Reon Hall bagged a second-half brace in the 52nd and 61st minutes, after Nkyosei Williams, Michael Henry, and Shamar Stephens had found the back of the net in the ninth, 23rd, and 47th minutes apiece. Adding a goal in the 71st minute was Keron Spencer.
