The Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation will collaborate with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport to host its flagship National Senior Championship on December 2 at the National Cultural Centre.
This is according to a release disseminated to the media by the federation yesterday.
The release stated that this year’s championship, which gets underway from 19:00hrs, will be the last ‘seniors’ event before Guyana hosts the CAC Bodybuilding Championships next October. As a result, the December spectacle has been dubbed ‘The Clash of the Baddest’ since all CAC hopefuls will grace the stage.

The release also stated that besides the ministry, the competition has attracted the financial backing of Fitness Express.
Several other business entities and individuals are expected to support financially.
Athletes
The registration of athletes has commenced with several elite musclemen and women already confirming their participation.
Among the confirmed athletes for the much anticipated ‘Clash of the Baddest’ are; reigning Mr. Guyana Bodybuilding Champion, Darious Ramsammy, reigning Mr. Guyana Men’s Physique Champion and CAC Gold medalist, Emmerson Campbell, reigning Ms. Guyana Bikini Champion, Hannah Rampersaud, CAC 2023 gold medalist, Nicholas Albert, CAC 2023 silver medalist, Julio Sinclair, CAC 2022 medalist Christina Ramsammy, reigning Novices Bodybuilding Champion 2023, Anthony Mc Lean, reigning Intermediate Champion, Seon Budhan, reigning Novice and Intermediate Bikini Champion, Melitha Anderson, reigning Novice and Intermediate Champion, Vanisha Munroe and many more senior athletes.
An official list of all competitors will be made public by the November 24.

On the night of the competition there will be in excess of 30 athletes competing in the five different segments of competition.
