In an effort to emphasize road safety as a crucial societal concern, the Guyana Police Force, the Guyana National Road Safety Council, and the Ministry of Home Affairs collaborated to launch National Road Safety Month under the theme ‘Road safety is not a slogan’.
The launch occurred on Wednesday in Regional Police Division #2 at the Anna Regina car park on the Essequibo Coast. This police photo shows schoolchildren taking part in the launch.
