USAID reps visit Norton at Congress Place

USAID representatives on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to PNC/R Leader Aubrey Norton at Congress Place, Sophia where they learnt more about the opposition’s role in geo-politics and also provided updates on upcoming initiatives in Guyana.

Regional Representative of USAID Mervyn Farroe explained that the organisation will soon be launching a new five-year, farmer-to-farmer programme which will see US-based volunteers on technical assignments to provide hands-on training to communities, cooperatives, agri-businesses and educational institutions in Guyana.

He was accompanied by Program and Strategy Director Stephanie Mikulasek, General Development Director Steven Fondriest, Deputy Program Director Jessica Hernandez, Program Development Specialist Chloe Noble, Government to Government Advisor Mansfield Blackwood, and Senior Technical Advisor Philip Schwehm.
