The Guyana Police Force (GPF) and Santos recorded wins when the KFC Elite League continued on Sunday evening at the Eve Leary ground, Kingston.
GPF arrested Victoria Kings 2-0. Adrian Aaron bagged a brace in the result. Aaron opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, controlling a cross from the left side following a corner-kick inside the right of the penalty area, before rifling a powerful shot into the hand corner.
He then return to make his presence felt once more in the 55th minute, controlling a squared pass inside the 18 yard area turning and striking a powerful left footed shot past the custodian.
Likewise, Santos defeated Fruta Conquerors by an identical score-line. Stephon Reynolds opened the scoring in the 45th minute, before a powerful right footed strike from outside the penalty area by Darron Niles settled the outcome in the 59th minute. The tournament continues on Friday at the same venue with another doubleheader.
