Teams briefed, footballs handed over in preparation for kickoff

The MVP Sports Girls Pee Wee Football Championship is slated to commence on Saturday, November 18 and ahead of the kick-off, tournament coordinators, the Petra Organisation, conducted a ball distribution exercise and tournament briefing yesterday at the National Library, Church and Main streets.

Representatives from some of the competing teams were presented with the tournament rules and a ball to aid in their training for the competition, which will be held at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.

The participating schools, who hail from Regions #3, #4, #6, #7, #10, and Georgetown, will be divided into five groups of four teams.
