Fruta Conquerors, Den Amstel, and Eagles recorded victories when the East Bank Football Association (EBFA)/Ralph Greene U11 League commenced on Saturday at the Agricola Community Centre ground.
The Tucville-based Fruta Conquerors outfit recorded the largest margin of victory with an 8-0 win against hosts Agricola. Dane Vancooten and Gilbert Frank recorded respective braces in the rout, while the quartet of Fabio Kowlessar, Levon Croft, Dontay Kowlessar, and Dazell Fernandes netted one goal each.
On the other hand, Den Amstel downed the Timehri Panthers 2-0 via a double from Akroy Dos Santos. Likewise, the Eagles clawed past Diamond United 2-0. Trevaughn Henry recorded a double in the win.
Meanwhile, Pouderoyen and Riddim Squad battled to a 1-1 stalemate, while Herstelling and Friendship played to an identical score. In other results, Swan, Vengy, and Santos secured walkover victories as their respective opponents failed to take the playing area during their stipulated times. The event continues on Saturday at the same venue.
