Agriculture Minister, Zulfikar Mustapha recently met with the newly accredited Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Guyana Saksee Phromyothi.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed collaboration to develop Guyana’s agriculture sector in areas such as coconut production and value chain, high-value crops, and non-traditional fruits and vegetables, a release from the Ministry of Agriculture said.
The Minister and the Ambassador also discussed possibly having a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) developed to facilitate knowledge sharing and technical exchange between the two countries.
