Twenty-year-old Yogeshwar Raghubir and 30-year-old Rajindra Persaud yesterday appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charge of larceny.
It was alleged that on November 15 2023, they stole from D. Singh’s Trading, the sum of $1,170,600 in cash, property of Shivnarine Singh. Both Raghubir and Persaud pleaded not guilty to the charge and were placed on $130,000 bail each. They will return to Court on December 22, 2023.
