The inclement weather once again had the final say, as Guyana’s league B encounter in the CONCACAF Nations League against the Bahamas, which was initially slated for Saturday at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, was cancelled once again by CONCACAF yesterday.

This decision by the regional body was confirmed by the Guyana Football Federation, following a post on their official Facebook page. According to a source close to the team, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, torrential rainfall and flooding continued from Saturday and forced the decision to cancel the fixture once more.
