With only two rounds remaining to crown a new champion, the 2023 edition of the Limacol Secondary Schools U18 Football League will continue today at the Ministry of Education ground at 13:00 hrs.
In the opening match, league leader and undefeated outfit Chase Academy will battle second-place Bartica. In the second encounter, sixth-placed Anns Grove will face off against seventh-placed and defending champion Wismar/Christianburg at 15:00 hours, while the final encounter will pit third-placed Carmel against fourth-placed Santa Rosa at 16:30 hours.
The top three schools at the conclusion of the championship will earn berths to the KFC Goodwill Series in December. The winner of the event will receive $300,000, while the second, third, and fourth-place prizes are $150,000, $75,000, and $50,000, respectively. On the individual side, the resulting Most Valuable Player, Highest Goal Scorer, and Best Goalkeeper will also be awarded.
