Some eight days ago I asked in your paper a pertinent question about the deficit financing of the London Oil/Sustainability Conference on 18/19 November. I have since been subject to more than a fair amount of private vitriol. Nothing public. I am still mystified about the revenue stream. Gate money was minimal, so were speakers set a tariff to contribute to appear? Transparency is all in public facing events. Please can the diaspora and the Guyanese have a clear, on the record, explanation and accounts for the event? Not much to ask.
