Police awaiting DNA results on murdered Mahaica woman

Two weeks after 38-year-old accountant, Chooromanie Tulsie, was murdered, her DNA samples are being tested and the Guyana Police Force is now awaiting those results.

This is according to a source close to the case who related that the killer would have left a ‘distinct mark’ on her body.

Tulsie of Lot 26 Unity, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara was found at around 8.00 am in the lower flat of her house, on November 19th, lying on the ground with a piece of cloth stuffed inside her mouth and a knife stuck at the centre of her throat.
