“The tournament in all was good, and it was a good start for this sevens programme that we have embarked on; it’s only up from here.”

So said President of the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU), Ryan Dey, yesterday following Guyana’s participation in the Grenada 7s.

The Grenada 7s were staged this past weekend in the capital of the ‘Spice Isle’ at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium and attracted teams from the USA, Canada, the UK, and the Caribbean Region.
