The communities in the Upper Mazaruni Region 7 are suffering because of the poor signal from Digicel Communication Network. We are having many drop calls, which sometimes are even difficult to connect, SMS messages that sometimes takes forever after many tries, and the internet service that is almost impossible to get through communications. For the past few months, the internet has been most unreliable to follow any news, national and international.
Our country is developing fast and there is teasion on our borders, and the people of these communities cannot be updated with the signal as it is. Sometimes it seems like robbery to purchase Digicel plans month after month, hoping that the signal improves, only to be left very disappointed. With all that is going on in Guyana, proper communication in the hinterland is very important. We need Digicel to upgrade their services here urgently. Thank you.
