Dear Editor,
The Venezuelan team went to ICJ recently with their President acclaiming he does not recognise the ICJ. We saw how that turned out. So now he goes into ‘appropriate’ dialogue with our President. What guarantees are there that outcomes of the dialogue particularly unfavourable, would be respected by Caracas? Can we expect a further ramping up of rhetoric and actions inimical to furtherance to the zone of peace?
