St. Stanislaus College and St. Roses were among the teams to secure quarterfinal berths when the 2023 edition of the Titan Bowl Basketball Championship commenced yesterday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
St. Stanislaus College mauled Queen’s College 47–21. Alwyn Adams scored 22 points in the rout, while Brandon McKoy recorded 10 points and six steals. For the loser, Owen Hooper scored 13 points, while Ezekiel Griffith added six points and 12 rebounds.
Similarly, St. Roses crushed Marian Academy 35–25. Paul France led the victor with 15 points, while Chad Martin contributed nine points and three rebounds. On the other side, Marian Fiedtkou registered 13 points and five rebounds, with Kaden Khan chipping in with 10 points and four rebounds.
