Cropper Primary was crowned the Future Warriors Tapeball Berbice Champions following an unbeaten campaign yesterday at the Port Mourant Community Centre ground.
Entering the final round alongside fellow undefeated outfits Tain and Fyrish, Cropper defeated the aforesaid do to clinch the title.
Cropper, in their first match, crushed Tain by nine wickets. Batting first, Tain recorded 49-4. Sumit Samaroo scored 37 runs (5x4s; 1×6). In reply, Cropper raced to the target in a mere four overs. Royston Crandon Jr. recorded an unbeaten 22 runs (2x4s; 2x6s), while Timothy Ramsarack also ended undefeated with 19 runs. Adding 11 runs was Jayden Garner.
