Jonathan Yearwood was elected to the helm of the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) when the entity staged its electoral congress on Monday evening at the club’s Bourda location.
This time around, the club boasts a dynamic team spearheaded by Yearwood, who told this publication that his new team is “poised to lead the club into a future of continued success and growth. Composed of dedicated individuals who bring a wealth of experience and passion for sports, the committee is committed to fostering collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure the club’s prosperity.”
The other members of the executive are: Vice President: Graeme Alli; Secretary: Andrew Xavier; Treasurer: Gavin Ramsoondar; Club Captain: Ryan Hemraj; and Committee Members: Richard Kansinally; Jameel Baksh; and Timothy Bhagwandin.
According to Yearwood, “Each member of the committee brings a unique set of skills and a deep love for all sports, making them well-equipped to steer Georgetown Cricket Club towards new heights.”
