An altercation involving three women at a fast foot outlet has left one of them nursing multiple stab wounds.
According to reports, yesterday at about midday at the Royal Castle fast food outlet located at the City Mall on Regent Street, Georgetown, three women became involved in a scuffle with one of them being stabbed.
The manager of the outlet, who spoke with Stabroek News, related that the women were standing in line during the lunch hour rush awaiting their orders. However, the victim who was not paying attention when her order was called multiple times, angered the other two women and subsequently a scuffle ensued between them. One of the young women pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the back, chest, and head.
One of the women escaped while the other was apprehended by police.
The manager related that when the fight started, she came out to separate the women but ended up getting stabbed in the arm for her troubles.
Her arm was bloodied with a visible puncture wound.
