Linden Technical Institute and Bishops’ High will contest the final of the Titan Bowl Basketball Championship following semi-final wins yesterday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
LTI overcame a 21-38 halftime deficit to defeat Kwakwani 51-48. Kellon Phillips led LTI with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Minian Vincent and Jamol Semple assisted with 10 and eight points apiece.+
For the loser, Kasim English recorded 18 points and four rebounds, while Cordel Hoyte added nine points and 16 points, and Dylan Hopkinson chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Bishops’ High School mauled President’s College 36–13. Carmelo Man-Son-Hing led the race with 16 points, while Matthias Arrindell supported with 13 points. For the loser, Malcolm Joseph scored eight points and four rebounds.
