DC Ballers, Minerals record wins in ‘One Guyana’ Beach Championship

DC Ballers, Minerals, and Goal is Money secured berths to the knockout round when the ‘One Guyana’ King and Queen Beach Championship continued on Friday evening at the PPP office compound in Mackenzie, Linden.

The DC Ballers riddled the Top Shooters 4-0. Nicholas Gentle recorded two conversions in the 19th and 23rd minutes, while Jayshawn Moore and Kwesi Quintin netted in the 12th and 16th minutes, respectively.

On the other hand, Minerals overcame 8-Side by a 2-1 score. Qualon Andries crafted a brace in the 11th and 23rd minutes. For the loser, Darnell Profit scored in the 19th minute. Similarly, Goal is Money squeaked past Ahassa Ballers 1-0. Shane Luckie crafted the line conversion in the 5th minute.

In other results, YMCA and Golden Stars B battled to a scoreless affair, while Day One and MS Ballers played to a 2-2 stalemate.

An own goal in the fifth minute and a 12th minute conversion from Demoll Warner were the scorers for MS Ballers, while Samuel Peters and Osapho Ross netted in the first and 17th minutes, respectively, for Day One. Also, the High Flyers and Presidential defeated the Young Ballers and Bad Boys, respectively, via walkovers.
