The Golden Jags U17 outfit went down to hosts Suriname yesterday in the final match of their two-game international series at the Dr. Franklin Essed Stadium in Paramaribo.
The Guyanese, who incurred a 0-4 drubbing at the same venue in the first encounter, narrowly lost via a 0-1 score. The tournament was part of a partnership between the Guyana Football Federation and its Surinamese counterpart and was utilised to provide vital international experience for emerging players.
