The Kato Sports Ground was filled with excitement as the male and female football clubs from Kanapang came out victorious at the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs’ first-ever Region #8 Championship Cup on Monday. The Department of Public Information (DPI) said that Kanapang Males won after a nail-biting battle with Bamboo Creek through penalty kicks. Kanapang females thrashed Kurukabaru, 3-1. The event lasted three days.
