The Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) safely delivered seven babies on Christmas Day and in celebrating with the mothers First Lady Arya Ali also recognised the healthcare workers who provide selfless service year-round.
“As of 9:00AM today (Christmas Day), 7 Christmas babies were safely delivered … because of the hard work, commitment and sacrifice of our healthcare workers,” the First Lady said in a post on her Facebook page.
She noted that December 25th symbolises “hope, and the beginning of new possibilities.
“The birth of these babies bring just that – hope of a life full of exciting possibilities. May their lives be filled with love, happiness and success,” she added.
