Bonasika Creek farmer dies after stabbing ex-wife, ingesting poison

A 34-year-old farmer of Upper Bonasika Creek, Essequibo River, and also of Hyde Park, Parika, East Bank Essequibo, died at the West Demerara Regional Hospital (WDRH) last Thursday after stabbing his ex-wife and then ingesting a poisonous substance.

Dead is Navindra Sam.

According to the police, the stabbing occurred on Boxing Day at about 7 am at the home of his ex-wife, a 34-year-old housewife of Hyde Park, East Bank Essequibo.
