Randolph Ganesh, a 35-year-old miner of Moruca, North West District, was apprehended on Friday at a police roadblock at the # 70 km check-point in Region Seven, after he was found with 83.3 grammes of marijuana in a haversack he was carrying.
According to a police press release, the cannabis was concealed in two Pringles cans. The police said Ganesh was told of the offence committed and cautioned, after which he admitted ownership of the narcotic, stating that he bought it at Charity for his personal use.
He was arrested and charges are pending.
