Six current players of West Bank Demerara-based Pouderoyen Football Club received welcome football gear on Saturday last thanks to some present and past members of the club’s executive body.
The gear, which includes football cleats, balls and bandages, was handed over by current Pouderoyen FC President Delon Josiah to the players.
Players who benefitted from the donation were club Captain Darell Abrams, Kiode King, Alex Softleigh, Dwayne St.Kitts, Keron Boyce and Teyon Kennedy.
Club President Josiah along with Keith Blackman, Garfield Todd and Carlotta Retemeyer-Gardner all chipped in with the donation of the gear.
