A thirty-one-year-old field technician was yesterday charged with armed robbery. Totaram Boomattie aka Vick of Lot 174 Good Hope pleaded not guilty after the Administration of Justice Act was administered.
He made his appearance before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court. It is alleged that he robbed Gowtam Williams of an iPhone pro Max 13 along with two gold chains valued at $ 4,320,000.
He was granted bail in the sum of $1,000,000 and the case was adjourned to January, 26, 2024.
Williams was imbibing at a popular liquor shop when he was shot at least nine times. He was discharged from the hospital however he is still in a lot of pain.
