DCB Inter-Association T20 tourney continues this weekend

The Demerara Cricket Board (DCB)/SVC/Precision Service Centre Inc. T20 Tournament will dive into the business end of things this weekend with the final set of round-robin matches scheduled for today while the semi-finals will be played tomorrow.

Today, action bowls off at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground on Lance Gibbs Street as the winless Upper Demerara Cricket Association (UDCA) Scorpions clash with the West Demerara Cricket Association (WDCA) Jaguars in the early game at 9 am.

At 1 pm, the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Panthers who have already secured a semi-final berth will do battle with the East Bank Demerara Cricket Association (EBCA) Eagles.

For this final round of matches, the East Coast Cricket Board (ECCB) Canje Pheasants have drawn a bye. 

Meanwhile, the semifinal action will take place on the West Coast of Demerara at the Meten-Meer-Zorg ground with semi-final one slated for 9 am while semi-final two bowls off at 1 pm.

After the finalists have been decided, next Saturday (January 20) will see the losers of the semi-finals in a third place playoff at the Georgetown Cricket Club Ground at 9 am.

The grand finale is set for the same venue on Sunday (January 21) at 1 pm.
