On Wednesday 17th January 2024, Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) officers conducted a search on an outgoing passenger at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport, Ogle, destined to Aurora, Region 7, and found a transparent parcel containing a quantity of leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be cannabis.
David McDonald, age 23, a labourer of Lot 23 Old Kara Kara, MacKenzie, Linden, was arrested and escorted to CANU’s Headquarters along with the suspected narcotic which was weighed and amounted to 84 grams, a release from CANU said.
