The Guyana Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA) has commended the allocation of G$4,6B in the 2024 budget for the sports sector, which is the highest in the history of the fraternity.
This was disclosed in an official release from the association. According to the correspondence, the entity welcomes the historic allotment, which is an increase from the 2023 iteration, noting that the association has cultivated a commendable working relationship with the National Sports Commission and the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport that has resulted in the fulfilment of several objectives.
