Dear Editor,
I have read Maj Gen Joe Singh’s COI report into the Mahdia tragedy cover to cover. It is a full, comprehensive report into the incident and causes. It also has a strong human streak running through it. All the commissioners are to be heartily congratulated on this piece of work. Following on, some senior heads must roll for negligence. Lessons must be learned. Quickly. Also any persons trying to make political capital out of twenty young deaths should be treated simply as pariahs.
