Kevin Perry, a 26-year-old labourer of Sparendaam, East Coast Demerara was arrested on Tuesday and charged on Wednesday with the felonious wounding of Lexroy Rigby, a 30-year-old miner of Mahdia Airstrip, Potaro.
The accused appeared at the Mahdia Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce, where he pleaded guilty with an explanation. The accused was remanded to prison and the matter was adjourned to 2024/04/16.
