Staged at the Back Circle tarmac in East Ruimveldt, the home side edged the Footsteppers 1-0. Simeon Moore found the back of the net.
Likewise, Gold is Money bested Genesis 1-0 via a Michael Oie conversion. Similarly, Unstoppable edged Showstoppers 2-1. Shemar Koulen recorded a double for the victor. On target in the loss was Dante McAulay.
In other results, Agricola and Victoria Eagles played to a 1-1 draw. Kacy John netted for Agricola, while Orin Bishop scored for Victoria.
Meanwhile, Lodge All-Stars and Family contested a 1-1 stalemate. Aaron Clarke scored for Family, while Carl Higgins netted for Lodge.

The winner of the event, which continues on Tuesday at the same venue, will pocket $400,000 and the championship trophy. The second, third, and fourth-place finishers will walk away with $200,000, $100,000, and $50,000, respectively.
