Dear Editor,
I was very excited on hearing the Minister of Finance announcing G$2.7 Billion towards the development of our cultural landscape.
I truly hope our Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport would be spending much of that towards the building of theatres/ cultural centres in many of our major towns similar to that which Linden has, specifically at New Amsterdam, Rose Hall, Corriverton, Parika, Bartica, Anna Regina, Charity and appropriate hinterland locations.
I have been recommending this approach to extending our cultural facilities throughout the country since, so far, to no avail.
