The Guyana Police Force (GPF) produced a dominant display as Kevin Isaacs, Emmanuel Sancho, and Hillman Bovell recorded wins when the Guyana Boxing Association Senior Developmental Championship commenced on Friday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
Isaac defeated Melroy McPherson of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) via technical knockout in round two of their bantamweight encounter.
Similarly, Hillman Bovell (GPF) dispatched Brian Harris (FYF) via technical knockout in the cruiserweight division.
On the other hand, Emmanuel Sancho (GPF) defeated Patrick Harvey of the Forgotten Youth Foundation (FYF) via unanimous decision in their welterweight bout.
In other results, Mark Crawford of FYF defeated Colin Hinds of GDF via technical knockout in their light middleweight fixture. Hinds suffered an injury at 1:15 in the second round following an uppercut.
Also, Troy Glasgow of GDF stopped Zidane Grey of GDF in the second round of their super heavyweight encounter.
Meanwhile, in the youth division, Fidel Persaud defeated Troy Lindore in the 47-48KG category, while Travis Sancho defeated Shawn Sabola in the 49-51KG section. Also, Leon Albert bested Clifton Jackson in the 55-57 division.
