A twenty-year-old died early yesterday morning after he lost control of his motorcycle on the Windsor Forest, West Coast Demerara public road.
Police identified the youth as Brandon Henry of Lot 268 Crane Housing Scheme, West Coast Demerara, who was riding his motorcycle #CM 6508 at the time.
According to the police at around 4am yesterday Henry was proceeding west along the southern lane of the road at a fast rate when he lost control of his motorcycle and ended up on the parapet, colliding with a Guyana Power and Light pole at the side of the road.
He was was picked up in an unconscious state by public-spirited persons and taken to West Demerara Regional Hospital, where he was seen and examined by a doctor on duty who pronounced dead on arrival. The body is at the Ezekiel Mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
