Crane Rovers and Eagles recorded wins when the West Demerara Football Association Pre-Season Championship continued on Sunday evening at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora.
Crane Rovers downed Belle West 2-0. Seon Stephens scored in the 19th minute, while Alonzo Bowman found the back of the net in the 41st minute.
Meanwhile, the Eagles soared past Uprising, 6-4. David Chisholm recorded a helmet trick in the second, 30th, 61st, and 90th+2 minutes. Adding goals in the 42nd and 90th+5 minutes were Daniel Clarke and Shakeel King, respectively. The losers were able to find the back of the net in the 10th, 20th, 25th, and 86th minutes apiece.
The event continues on Friday at the same venue with another doubleheader.
