A major Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight card is set to kick off on March 23 as the Guyana Mixed Martial Arts Federation (GMMF) seeks to further promote the sport with their first fully-sanctioned event in the last seven years.
The upcoming MMA competition was launched yesterday at the Pegasus Suites with GMMF President Gavin Singh and executives in attendance.
The octagon complete with cage will be set up at the Pegasus Hotel, and the Pro-Am (Professional/Amateur) card will feature at least 14 bouts with the GMMF looking to increase that number to a possible 16 fights.
