The body of Rasleigh Gladstone who fell overboard following a river mishap on Friday at around 19.00 hours in the Kimbia River, was recovered yesterday morning.
This is according to the Regional Commander, Superintendent Guy Nurse, who related to the Sunday Stabroek that on Friday night two boats travelling in opposite directions had collided.
Gladstone was the captain of one of the boats while his cousin was the captain of the other. As a result of the collision, Gladstone fell overboard and did not resurface on Friday.
His body was recovered yesterday morning in the Kimbia area.
